Since the manufacture of Japan's first mini-car, the 360, Subaru has continued to innovate and broaden the boundaries of design and technology. It has pioneered the use of All-Wheel Drive technology along with active torque split and ABS.
The development of the horizontally-opposed four-cylinder engine has also gained Subaru further accolades and it is currently working on advancements to take us well into the next century.
Subaru have, and always will, question the norms of automobile design in the pursuit of excellence. Currently, the outstanding balance and superior driving performance of the vehicles would appear to support this philosophy.
